It was cool to train jiu jitsu here with the other students. I learned how to stand after being on the floor so it's not easy to be knocked down again among other things. It's nicely located near trader joes as well so you can get a snack or juice as well after training.

What makes us special is that we offer a wide variety of martial arts classes that focus on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Designed to keep you or your child active, build confidence, stay focused, shed pounds, and protect yourselves.
This class is designed to instill in your child unshakable confidence so they can overcome bullies without violence, and any other challenge life throws at them.
This class teach women how to neutralize the 20 most common attacks ranging from having your hair grabbed to being pinned to the ground by a weapon-bearing assailant.
This class teaches the 36 core techniques of Gracie Jiu-Jitsu® in a fun, safe, and cooperative environment.

Head Coach Carlos
Carlos, a devoted martial artist for 30+ years, earned his Black belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu from the Gracie Academy in Torrance, California, in December 2022, under Ryron and Rener Gracie. He's a certified instructor for Gracie programs, training military, border patrol, and law enforcement in Gracie Survival tactics.
Coach Selenia
Selenia has over 25 years of experience in several martial arts including Tae Kwon Do, Boxing, Kickboxing, Weaponry and Jiu-Jitsu. She has over 15 years experience as a martial arts instructor and received her brown belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu from Rener and Ryron Gracie in 2019.
Coach Sarah Miller
Sarah Miller has been dedicated to empowering people of all ages as a teacher and coach, though martial arts for over 25 years. She received her Blue Belt in Gracie Jiu-jitsu from Ryron and Rener Gracie and is very proud to have received her Pink Belt from Eve and Victoria Gracie and is Certified as a Women Empowered Instructor

Our son started the Gracie Bullyproof program in early February and he loves it. It's really cool to see his confidence grow. I have been training here for several years and cannot recommend it enough. Carlos is an excellent instructor who can work with folks of all ages and all focus types. From children to adults, from hobbyists to serious practitioners. I drive to Huntington Beach specifically train at this gym despite the fact that there are many other gyms and affiliations that are more convenient for my schedule.

Master Carlos and his staff have been such amazing instructors with my son. They are patient, knowledgeable, practice humility and have a good sense of humor with the kids. I've been around MANY coaches and instructors growing up, as I've wrestled for our high school, taken judo, and aikido, and Master Carlos and his staff are some of the best I've ever been around. You will not be disappointed with having your children train here. The only reason we could not continue was due to some time conflicts with swimming, and the fact that we live on the far side of FV, so it takes some time to get down to the dojo. I look forward to taking my son back (he still asks about it) when the time is right.
